MAKATI CITY, 14 July 2018 – The Membership Committee of the Philippine Energy Efficiency Alliance (PE2), led by trustees Raymond A. Marquez and Rodolfo R. Peñalosa, approved earlier today the application of MEI Energy Solutions Inc. (MEI ESI), which has just become the newest Regular B member of the Alliance.

Nominated by PE2 president Alexander Ablaza, ME-ESI will be represented in the Alliance by its President, Ms. Janice Josefa P.G. Agbon. Ablaza nominated the company after he met them on 3 July 2018 through the introduction of G. A. A. Delgado Inc. President and CEO, Guido Alfredo A. Delgado. It was during this meeting that Ablaza learned about MEI ESI’s ongoing savings-based contracts for a major hospital building and a multinational semiconductor assembly plant.

MEI ESI is an SEC-registered company whose purpose is to engage in the sale, trade, promotion, manufacture, installation, and servicing of advanced technology products, and provision of services, related to energy savings, energy efficiency, and energy management.  MEI ESI shares the need to conserve energy, particularly in industry and commerce, as the energy cost takes up a substantial share in the overall cost structure of the operation, thus it becomes apparent to cut energy costs in order to remain competitive. Their services are driven by the urgency of any reduction in energy consumption, considering the rising cost of electricity and the need to lower carbon dioxide emissions to the environment.

MEI ESI believes that the success of any energy conservation program is highly dependent on the support given by the client’s management and the establishment of an energy database.  The company evaluates the current energy usage of the potential clients based on the data obtained from them. By conducting an energy audit, MEI ESI is able to identify priority areas where the greatest efficiency improvement can be achieved.  The firm tailor-fits its engineering scheme and technology to formulate a financial evaluation showing savings, funding requirements and return on investment that best suits its clients’ needs.

MEI ESI’s office is located at the PSE Center along Exchange Road in Ortigas Center. The company description can be visited at the PE2 webpage:
