BOI invites PE2 to TRABAHO-SIPP consultations

MAKATI CITY, 9 October 2018 – The Board of Investments (BOI) invited the Philippine Energy Efficiency Alliance (PE2) and other energy sector stakeholders to public consultations on the Strategic Investment Priorities Plan (SIPP) under the pending TRABAHO (formerly known as TRAIN-2) bill. The consultations will be held this afternoon at the Philippine International Convention Center.

House energy panel lists EE&C bill among 17th Congress priorities in meeting with PE2, foreign chambers

HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES, Quezon City, 18 September 2018 – The Committee on Energy (COE) of the House of Representatives updated the Philippine Energy Efficiency Alliance (PE2) and the Joint Foreign Chambers (JFC) with a list of legislative priorities for the Third Regular Session of the 17th Congress. House COE Chairman Lord Allan Jay Q. Velasco reported during the special meeting with JFC and PE2 that the list of priority measures, as coordinated with Senate COE Chairman Sherwin T. Gatchalian, included the Energy Efficiency and Conservation (EE&C) Act of 2018.

PE2 and PCEPSDI plan EE seminars for tourism sector

PASIG CITY, Philippines, 28 August 2018 – The Philippine Energy Efficiency Alliance (PE2) and the Philippine Center for Environmental Protection and Sustainable Development, Inc. (PCEPSDI) met earlier today to plan the energy efficiency seminars intended for industry players in the tourism sector.

The Alliance was represented by trustees Alexander Ablaza, Raymond A. Marquez and Bienvenido C. Gonzales, and member services and communications manager Luigi G. Eusebio. PCEPSDI was represented by its executive director, June M. Alvarez, and its project officer, Kiko E. Velhagen.
